This blag will be aiming to talk about some of the intricacies of training for intense endurance events (primarily marathons, though we’ll upgrade to include triathlons eventually)… on a vegan diet.

It can be very hard to get good information on how to eat well when you decide to take on a more compassionate diet. So much of the science and athletes and information you can get are all about how to be “healthy” while eating meats and cheeses and eggs.

So, for the most part, this will be about my training schedule, my diet, and how these two things interact with my performance as a runner, and of course, my general well-being.

I’ll try to include some basic recipes from time to time, general training tips, a fairly exhaustive list of what sorts of things I do for training, and what I eat to prep for intense workouts.

I also plan to tag every entry with relevant info–that is to say, if you want to know training tips, recipes, etc, they should all be tagged appropriately.
